Support HOAM

As we grow to meet the needs of an ever-expanding community, HOAM has an expansive vision for "what's next". HOAM continues to plumb the rich heritage of our charming city for future additions to our museum quality outdoor art. For the most recent artwork in our collection, a new painted mural is currently being created.

The Historic Outdoor Art Museum/NB, Inc. (HOAM) is going to present our ninth art project in honor of New Braunfels 175 Anniversary Celebration in March, 2020. This painted mural by commissioned mural artist, Brent McCarthy, will depict and celebrate the history of the "Visual and Performing Arts of New Braunfels" in chronological order from early years to present time. The size of the mural will be 60 feet in length and 15 feet in height and created on the outside wall of the Brauntex Performing Arts Theatre. Maestro David Mairs, former director of the Mid-Texas Symphony, will be showcased in the front center of the colorful mural.

Historic Outdoor Art Museum depends on private financial contributions, in-kind donations and volunteerism to continue our concept of "Highlighting History and Honoring our Heritage!"
