World renown Artist Jesse Trevino has been commissioned by The Historic Outdoor Museum of New Braunfels to create our eighth work of art. The HOAM Mexican American Committee has provided Mr. Trevino the historical background to develop a concept that tells the rich story of the Mexican American contribution to our city.
The “Spirit of Healing” Commissioned by Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital in Downtown San Antonio Shows the eclectic style, grand scale and spirit of sensitivity that Mr. Trevino expresses in his wonderful works of art. Having spent time in New Braunfels as a boy and with family still calling New Braunfels home Mr. Trevino has embraced the opportunity to help HOAM tell the story of our Mexican American culture.

The Historic Outdoor Art Museum Has been telling the story of New Braunfels’ colorful history through the use of outdoor art since 1996. Thousands of locals and visitors have had the opportunity to see our murals and become more familiar with our city’s past.

The important contributions the Hispanic community has made to New Braunfels needs to be told! Who better to tell it than a committee of our own Mexican American citizens and great artist like Jesse Trevino
